Designed for aviation applications and rugged enough for any terrain, the MWC NATO Chronograph in black PVD steel was developed to meet the demanding needs of military crews, commercial pilots, and general aviation professionals. While based on the proven specifications used by other NATO chronograph manufacturers, this model offers several thoughtful upgrades that enhance functionality, readability, and ease of use.

This model uniquely blends innovative and traditional technologies, retaining all the most popular features of our conventional G10 Luminova models while incorporating innovative GTLS self-luminescent tritium tubes. This watch's specifications comply with US Military Specification Number: US MIL-W-46374F.

These military-grade watches are the most legible in low-light or total darkness thanks to their self-activating light source, up to 100 times brighter than traditional luminescent paint. These light-emitting tubes require no battery, charging, or maintenance and have an expected lifespan of at least 10 years.

At the heart of the watch is a high-performance Swiss Ronda 5040.D movement, offering precise chronograph operation with the utmost simplicity and hassle-free operation. The case measures 45.5 mm, including the crown, striking a balance between bold presence and wearable proportions.

Ronda 5040.D Subdial Functions

Left Subdial (9 o'clock):

60-Minute Chronograph Counter

Contains the elapsed minutes count when the chronograph is active, up to a maximum of 60 minutes.

Lower subdial (6 o'clock):

12-hour chronograph counter

Contains a total count of the hours elapsed while the chronograph is running, up to a maximum of 12 hours.

Right subdial (3 o'clock):

Small seconds indicator

Displays running seconds for standard timekeeping. This subdial operates independently of the chronograph function.
