Basecamp Rose Gold

Basecamp reminds you that it time to step back, take a break, breathe.

Don&rsquo-t count your time. Make your time count.

Basecamp: a metaphor for your escape, your adventure.

A premium, custom-made tool watch that is equipped with the style, comfort and durability to brave the day-to-day madness of a modern, urban existence.

A wrist-worn, time-telling instrument that must withstand outdoor ordeals and assist the wearer in their exploits. A tool watch criterion: always readable, right away.

Shaped by wartime necessity, technological advancements, and exploration of our earth, tool watches are every man constant companion.

Basecamp is exactly that.

A high-performance device with on-trend vintage aesthetics, featuring an iconic neon-orange hour hand, minimalist dive bezel, and an in-house developed crystal made with the same raw material found in bulletproof glass.

Tool watches should be light and compact, and in no way clumsy or cumbersome &ndash- they are designed to fuse effortlessly with an explorer physique, so they never have to be taken off during a journey.

Weighing in at just 66 grams, Basecamp ticks all the boxes (and scales).

Perfect for everyday wear, indoors or outdoors, office, off-site&hellip- Sans crown guards, Basecamp has slimmed down to smarten up for all sorts of occasions.

Basecamp is driven by one of the most reliable and robust workhorse in the industry &ndash- the Seiko Instrument Inc. NH35a automatic movement. The watch fuels up by wrist motion, but can also be wound manually via the crown- fully wound, it armed with a 42-hour power reserve.

Unlike most watches, Basecamp boasts three drastically different hands, so the hour, minute, and second are immediately distinguishable. Importantly, the hour hand is the eye-catching hue of vivid orange &ndash- striking, and symbolic of safety.

Retro beige by day, and radiant green by night. Charged under sunlight, Japanese phosphorescent pigment ensures a vibrant, long-lasting glow that will endure till dawn.

Basecamp 3mm crystal is patently arched for a real, retro look. The desired shape took the UNDONE team two years to develop in the lab using LEXAN&trade-, a polycarbonate thermoplastic found in headlamps and motorcycle helmets with 250 times the impact strength of glass.

Basecamp transparent bezel is engineered to simulate the old-school aesthetics of classic Bakelite bezels, with colors and lume applied underneath. It rotatable in both directions without clicks, like back in the good ol&rsquo- days. The main design mimics the famous 1950s &lsquo-sterile&rsquo- insert with no markings but a single glow-in-the-dark triangle- it was originally intended for soldiers on long missions to measure time elapsed in hours.
