Description

This MWC automatic military watch is a classic reproduction of the 1940s and 1950s model used by the British Armed Forces. It features a small subsidiary seconds hand, retaining the original acrylic crystal, but converting the hand-wound mechanical movement to an automatic self-winding movement, which can also be wound manually if necessary. This blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality ensures the watch retains its original look while offering improvements for everyday wear.

It features a sturdy, brushed 316L military-grade stainless steel case, a sub-seconds dial, an automatic stop function, a cream-colored dial, and luminous hands. The canvas strap, historically true to the original, is inspired by those used by the British Armed Forces in the 1940s.

The final image shows inspiration provided by military watch enthusiasts, who requested a design reminiscent of the original ATP watches, featuring cream-colored dials. These ATPs existed in 20 variations and are unique, as during the war Swiss manufacturers supplied black-dialed watches to the Germans and cream-dialed watches to the British.
