MWC Pattern Stainless Steel Military Pilots Chronograph

The MWC NATO Chronograph with a stainless steel case is designed to meet the needs of military aircrew, airline pilots, and general aviation pilots. While based on the same specifications used by many other leading military NATO chronograph manufacturers, this watch includes several enhancements for improved functionality and visibility. The case measures 45.5 mm, and the chronograph uses a high-performance Swiss Ronda 5040.D movement.

Pressing the top button provides a precise response and the time hand begins ticking. The stop button at 5 o'clock provides the same crisp feel when stopping the chronograph, and pressing it again immediately returns the hand to 12 o'clock.

These models are ideal for those who own multiple watches because they don't need to be wound before wearing. Simply replace the battery every couple of years and check the water resistance. A unique feature is the lack of a ticking sound, making it indistinguishable from a mechanical watch based on behavior alone.

Ronda 5040.D Subdial Functions:

Left Subdial (9 o'clock): 60-Minute Counter (Chronograph), Counts elapsed minutes when the chronograph is running.

Bottom Subdial (6 o'clock): Chronograph Hours (up to 12)

Right Subdial (3 o'clock): Small Seconds (continuous seconds for the main time)

This is always running; it has nothing to do with the chronograph function.
