The Swiss GMT Tokyo Shibuya is dedicated to Shibuya, the historic district of Tokyo where tradition and modernity coexist very well. On the one hand Shibuya sports huge maxi screens, majestic shopping malls, hotels and restaurants so much that we could compare it to the iconic Times Square in New York on the other hand it fortunately continues to maintain the traditional izakaya clubs that have become trendy even across the border as new Happy Hour conception.

It is precisely these historic Japanese restaurants that inspired the OOO designers who have thus decided to propose the pattern usually reproduced as a texture on the walls of the izakaya and which represents the Rising Sun on the dial.

Looking at the light gray "sunburnt" Full Lume effect dial in the absence of light, you will notice that only the dark gray part lights up, creating a fascinating "wave effect".

The laser-engraved caseback shows a Tokyo manhole design that reproduces Osaka Castle in cherry blossom season.
