The MWC Classic 40mm Aviator Automatic Movement is an automatic pilot watch with a stainless steel case and screw-down crown and case back, water resistant to 100 metres. If you want a vintage-looking pilot watch you can rely on every day, it pairs 1950s style with modern mechanics.

A classic aviator with an automatic heart

At its heart is a 24-jewel NH35A automatic movement: it winds as you wear it, offers up to a 41-hour power reserve and has a hacking function that stops the seconds hand while you set the time. Compared with period pilot watches, accuracy is significantly better.

Compact case and sapphire crystal

The 316L stainless steel case is 38 mm without the crown (40 mm with it), 45.5 mm lug to lug and 12 mm thick. The sapphire crystal is shatter and scratch resistant, with an anti-reflective coating. The black dial with Luminova and date pairs with a 20 mm black leather strap and pin buckle.
