The MWC P656 Tactical Subdual Titanio Swiss Quarzo GTLS Trizio is one of the most discreet tritium military watches in the Tactical series: a black titanium case and a black dial with no date. Designed for law enforcement in marine, surface and air applications, it is manufactured to exceed U.S. specification W-46374F Type 6. It suits anyone who wants a rugged, low-profile tritium watch.

Tritium watch, subdued version

The Subdual version is all matte black, so it neither reflects nor draws attention. Swiss Tritium GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) are much brighter than conventional luminous materials. Compared with the mid-90s models it derives from, the series has a solid titanium case and bezel, water resistance increased by a factor of 10, from 30 to 300 metres (99 to 1000 feet), and a heavy-duty screw-down crown and caseback.

Movement and performance

The high-precision Swiss Ronda 715Li quartz movement is designed to withstand high G-forces, with a 10-year battery life and a low-battery indicator. It keeps high accuracy at altitudes up to 12,000 m / 40,000 ft without compensatory pressurisation, the main difference from many other MWC models.
