ELZ is unique and differentiates itself from others by highlighting the technicality and coolness of the electronics contained in its watches and by surfing on fashion trends (tech wear, high-end streetwear)

Electricity is at the core of our design : in opposition to many watchmakers, we creatively reveal our electric mechanism, making itthe jewel of our timepiece.

Our offbeat design celebrates and transcends electric codes, components and materials and emulates electricity in its simplest expression: a battery, conductors and adisplay. 

Our electric module is developed in house for utmost flexibility regarding the technical aspects of our designs.

A watch governed by electricity is not new. However, it is very rare to highlight the technicality of an "electric" watch. Having an approach where you update the electronics (the electrical components, the printed circuit, or the coil of the quartz movement) seems obvious, like a mechanical watch that highlights the inner workings of its movement.

This approach makes it possible to design more qualitative and more emotional products. We need to feel a watch "live", "turn" and understand how it works.

We are addressing first of all a scientific spirit which has a real sense of creativity.

A curious spirit of the world which surrounds him with an insatiable thirst to understand and an attraction for new technologies, in particular in mechanics, electronics,

robotics and computer science. Interested by electronical technologies, lighting, Head up display etc

The idea is to address our community in a didactic way: explain the technology embedded in our watches; while appealing to the sensitivity of each: to dream, to stimulate the imagination.

We’re speaking to a rather young audience, so the idea is to do it in a relaxed, cool way. 

Today, ELZ is developing products that are inspired by retro or current electronics. 

We like to break away from established codes and allow ourselves some eccentricities. We create watches with a lot of personalities for people with a strong personality: identifiable and visible watches by day and by night!
